Shipping Policy

Sole City Shoes provides free shipping on all orders over $99 across Canada*.  * Remote areas may carry an additional charge, which will be confirmed before shipping.

U.S. customers are charged a flat rate of $20 for shipping to the lower 48 states. Alaska and Hawaii customers please email or call for specific charges.

Orders under $99 are charged a flat rate of $15 for shipping, if shipping to your specific location is over $15, Sole City Shoes may contact you for additional shipping charges for you to approve or refund your order prior to shipping.

All orders are provided a tracking number so you can see where your product is and require a signature for delivery to ensure your product gets to the right person. We ship all our products through major shipping companies such as Canada Post, Purolator, Fed Ex, UPS and more. We choose the shipping company which can deliver the product as quickly as possible within our budget to your location. Dependent on your location and when the order is processed, goods should be shipped and received within Canada in 1-9 business days and 6-14 business days to US locations. However most major markets in Canada can see the product as quickly as 1-3 business days.

Express Shipping

For customers who which to have 1-2 day service, this shipping option is possible for your order however the customer will need to pay the difference in the shipping options up front. Please let us know you wish to be contacted with the cost prior to shipping or you may call in with your order number and we can assist you in this decision.

**All orders from Nunavut please call or email us for us to calculate exact additional shipping charges.

** U.S. customers, if we can assist in accepting a return through one of our carriers we will and the cost of the shipping and any duties will be deducted from the refund amount. If we are unable to assist US Customers are responsible for return shipping costs by their own carrier and must mark the parcel as "CANADIAN GOODS RETURN" on the custom forms.  Duties charged to Sole City as a result of being labeled incorrectly or by marking the item(s) a "gift" will be deducted from your return amount.  Parcels sent C.O.D will be refused and Sole City Shoes will not refund international duties and taxes. As return shipping costs for U.S. customers is their responsibility, Sole City Shoes charges a reduced restocking fee of $10.00.

Sole City will not accept liability for shipping loss which is why we recommend goods are insured and shipped with a tracking number and signed on delivery. We cannot assume responsibility for reimbursement without proof of delivery.

Price changes and Taxes

As Sole City Shoes carries dozens of the worlds leading and boutique footwear brands, in most cases the prices listed are directly controlled by the Brand/Manufacturers. Our prices are subject to change without notice on the Website or may be posted incorrectly. In order to comply with our manufacturers we reserve the right to cancel any order in the event a price was posted incorrectly.

All prices are subject to taxation under the Excise Tax Act (Canada) and customers agree to pay all taxes applicable arising from a purchase. In the event that the purchased product is to be shipped outside of Canada, you agree to pay any duty or other fee or charge associated with export, customs or import.


As is required by both federal and provincial law all sales taxes are collected where applicable. Specifically by province and territory:
AB: 5% GST, BC: 5% GST+7%PST, MB: 5% GST and 8% PST, NB: 13% HST, NL: 13% HST, NS: 15% HST, NT: 5% GST, NU: 5% GST, ON: 13% HST, PEI: 14% HST, QC: 5% GST and 10%QST, SK: 5% GST and 5% PST, YT: 5% GST


A customer may cancel an order at any time prior to the product being shipped at no charge.

In the event a product is sold out before your purchase is processed, there is a chance Sole City Shoes may need to cancel your order if we are unable to replenish the item. If this occurs we promise to contact you and apologize for any inconvenience. We will let you know if there is anything we can do to get you the product you are looking for.
